Coach Len Shuba looked like he was trying to give away this game with his lineup decisions, but the team just wouldn't quit. Shubie - "Doobie" beat Mouth of Madden Like a drum, winning 127 to 48.
The loss was Mouth of Madden's 3rd in their last four games, bringing their record to 3 - 9. The win brings Shubie - "Doobie" to 10 - 2.
Shubie - "Doobie" relied heavily on JuJu Smith-Schuster, who posted 38 points. Smith-Schuster topped all but two players this week with that performance. He outran and stiff-armed the Broncos D on a 97-yard touchdown catch and run, tying the record for longest play in Steelers history.
Shubie - "Doobie" also got the 3rd highest running back score this week via Nick Chubb, who produced 27 points. Coach Shuba's squad did well despite having to deal with Ryan Grant and the Redskins Defense/ST, who combined to put up 6 points. Underperforming is the new normal for the Redskins, who have gone four straight games without hitting their projected point total.
Although his team won, Coach Shuba didn't have the best game personally. He left Demaryius Thomas and the Bills Defense/ST on the bench in favor of Ryan Grant and the Redskins Defense/ST, who were both expected to score less.
These decisions shaved 27 points from Shubie - "Doobie"'s score. Taking risks is par for the course for Coach Shuba, as he has been one of the more risk taking coaches in the league.
